I have checked with safety stores all over the place. All kinds of gloves and no socks. People I've talked to in the know say they don't make um. The best bet is probably doing what Bob Dunlap did. Buy kevlar arm sleaves and sew one of the ends shut. They come in different size, length, and weights and can be found in safety stores.
Security sells (or did sell) both kevlar gloves and kevlar boots. I bought them off of Carl Holt in 2002. But after seeing how well the kevlar socks held up that Bob Dunlap had on at Whitney Point, I plan to get those (at Home Depot I'm told) and put those inside my kevlar boots. The boots still go inside my shoes, which I also plan to change to leather boots. I think my plan is the safest thing you can do for your feet that I know of today.
Just ask Brad Walker and Bob Dunlap how well those socks worked. Amazing.
