      Looks like an Entrop/Jones or MacDonald prop rider with a 4 cylinder Quincy Looper ... likely a 44 ci F

      By the time Quincy was making the 4 cylinder Looper motor, the prop riders were obsoleted by Sidcraft F taildraggers

        No, it's a Ben Hur design by Hal Kelly. Here's a picture.

          No, the Ben Hur is a rudimentary copy of the boats I named. Look at the cockpit cowling ... that is not a change to the Kelly design ... it is the original "Monkey on a stick" as Bob Carver described it.

            -and similar to, but built after,

              Does anyone know what happened to the Entrop hull that the late Harry Brinkman had? Had quite an article in the Antique Outboard magazine on how Hugh told him to set it up to run.
