A; - are you configuring for the flat tops, or the domed M50 pistons?
What are those unmachined slugs for on the bench beside the heads ?
            I have a set of Philip's flat 020+ if u need them.
            I sold my M50.

It would appear he is making a set if removable chambered heads. The round billet slugs are more than likely going to be machined into combustion chambers that will fit into the head with an o-ring seal. This method was very popular back in the late 80's early 90's on racing jutski's. You could change the chamber size for different applications, without buying an entirely new head assembly.

But then again, I could be completely wrong.

Picked up 700 rpm vs milled stock head on a motor that does not like to rev.

Will make another one this summer.

Note : These are not for a OMC.

                      Thanks,

Nice work, and in the garden, too. Jokes aside - are you using gas filled metallic O-rings?
