  • Windshield Material

I have to make a windshield for Jacks new runabout, It will be an inverted 'V' shape with a sharp bend . What is the best material and how do I bend it ? Thanks Shwan

Shawn, I believe you can bend the Lexan with a metal brake or simply bend it using a piece of wood along the desired edge. No heat required. Jack

Markalon, it is used for cnc machine windows (so you can see inside). It is designed so it will not fog if you get gas or coolant on it and is easy to bend and work with. Always worked great for me with a little door edge mold along the top edge....cardboard patern first. Hope it helps

        Yes, Lexan . . .

As Jack Stotts reported - Lexan can be cold formed.
