Who ports OMC motors?

Would like to get a 3 cylinder OMC ported for Super E / Formula E. Any recommendations?

I know that Ruck ports Mercs but don't know if he ports OMCs or not.

Oshkosh is home to Jim Ruck as well as Mike Wienandt. I know there has been at least one 49.9 OMC at Wienandt's. You've probably seen or heard of it winning the Winternationals, Divisionals and Nationals this year. If you can't beat'em, you can join'em.

David, on the west coast Steve Benson has consistently built some of the fastest OMC 3cyl engines over many years, with many records and championships to his credit. I don't know if he has "fully" retired from building engines but it might be worth a try sasbenson@comcast.net

Fishing Engines

Pretty much all of the legal engines for the SEH/FEH class start out as fishing engines. They pretty much still are when we race them, we just port them and put the better exhaust on them, and then try to find a prop combo that screams. Of course I saw me a hybrid last weekend in Hillsdale. Part OMC and part Merc. I believe Mr. Benson had a little something to do with that engine

Was it Josh Kimble by chance? If so I know the motor. Benson has been doing that for quite sometime now. Many guys running that and/or similar set ups out here. Benson is very good at what he does, and a heck of a nice guy.
