HI i am looking at Mercury part #50-825269a1 or #50-42566 are they the same? are they interchangeable? I am on my back up recoil and would like to up my good one back together as soon as possible.

the 42566 is superceded to the 825269A1 ..........list around $35

Thanks for the reply my local mercury parts was not awere of this, also both part #'s list as $83.90. I will look in to ordering form the states or look for a use one.

that is one hell of a mark up!!! If they are a Merc dealer, then they would know the current supersession part number, which is the 50-825269A1.........shows a list price of $34 today............
