  • Y102 tower and clamp assembly disassembly.

Ok, My 102 is torn down right now and I am waitng for my crank to come back. I want to remove the clamp assemble from the tower to ease cleaning and polishing. how do I go about doing so? All we noticed was a nylon bolt that went screwed in but once removed we couldn't figure out how to remove the pin or anything, even after looking at the Y102 manual on their site. The only thing that came to mind was putting a bolt in where the nylon one was and trying to pull it out.

    thanks in advance
    Silas.

Put a bolt into the pin and use a slide hammer.

So the threads that the nylon bolt go into are in the pin itself? Thanks whaht we were thinking but weren't sure.

do the bushings shown in the manual ever have to be replaced?

I wont get around to doing this until after work but thanks for the answer.
