  • Pickelfork hydro inboard conversion

I have a 14 foot enclosed pickelfork hydroplane that is currently set up for an outboard motor. We are in the process of installing an inboard turbine engine in this boat. I am looking for some pictures or specs on the following, propshaft angle and placement. propeller availability (LH). Rudder design and size. propshaft speed will be approx 6000 rpm.

    conversion..

Jason...sounds like a fun project. You need to track down Bob Sovie who is in Ogdensberg NY. He was the first I know of to do exactly what you are doing...converting a 700 hydro(I think) to an inboard.
