Can anyone tell me where I can buy smoked butyrate?
Windshields cracked on both my hydros this winter.

Is that the same thing as lexan? I am also in need of some smoked lexan or butyrate if that is the same thing.

buterate is cellulose acetate buterate or CAB. Midland Plastics handles it, has numerous locations and will ship.

I bought lexan and clevis pins from Wicks. The price was great, but the shipping was $33.00 on an order of $67.00.

I bought some clear lexan pretty reasonable at Menard's store. No shipping

                      Option

I use Tuftex now instead of Lexan. I think it's stronger... I also use tinting film on the outside surface of my windshields.

Just another set of options to consider.
