Needed: propeller bushings

I bought two props that were supposed to be for a 9/16 prop shaft. They aren't. They are 15mm.

I need two propeller bushings of the following dimensions:

9/16" I.D. x 15mm O.D. x 1 9/16" long. Brass or stainless or whatever.

Your best bet is to have the props bored out to 11/16" and then buy bushings for 11/16" to 9/16". 15mm to 9/16" is a very thin bushing.

You can buy bushings from Larry McAfee and Lee Tietze that I know of. Probably from other people also.

I stock bushings in nearly every possilble combination. I make mine from A360 Brass. 15mm O.D. x 9/16 I.D. is only .014 wall thickness, but if your carefull it'll last a long time. As David suggested you can have your props bored out, but use someone who knows what their doing. The outer Hub of the prop is never concentric with the propeller bore, so when you clamp it in the lathe jaws it has to be shimmed to maintain center. It usually takes more time to set it up than to perform the actual machining......
