    I am looking for a starter boat I am 11 and wanting to get in the sport. I have experence with driving boats I drive my dads 1978 Sanger Jet Boat , and a 1980 Warlock cuddy .         A/B racing runabout

        I have a nice class A/B runabout for sale, 2 hr east of Cleveland, in western NY. Made by Pickerell, has a solid molded fiberglass bottom & chines, varnished sides & deck. Vintage Keller wheel & throttle, aluminum transom tank. Asking $875, open to reasonable offers. Email for pics.

          Welcome to the racing family. There are many racers in OH. Several in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincy, Youngstown, Zanesville areas, just to name a few.

          Bill is right, TRORA is the club that covers OH & western PA with IOA handling IN and overlapping in OH. There will be races this year in Zanesville and Alexandria, KY (Cincy area) that will be real close, with many others in IN, MI and PA. The number of races you attend will depend on the amount of travel you and your folks can handle.

          As for boats, there are quite a few top shelf boats in Lowellville, OH (not sure of the spelling but is just south of Youngstown) from the Holt Racing stable. Link is below.

            Thanks alot guys I have had a few replys and want to thank you for helping me. This is one forum me and my brother have found with nice people on it, and that are willing to help younger people out that would like to get in this cool hobby.
