      History

You could have owned it at one time. Because I got it from Walter Long of FL. His daughter Betsy use to drive it. That's all that I know about it's history.

          Giles J/A Boat

Thanks for info. I'm thinking it's our 1994 ASH boat that my son won the nationals with in Wakefield. We sold the boat to Rob Wholert - not sure of name spell - in FL. Rob's brother is Randy.

          Sincerely,
Don Graham We lived in Mass at time of 1994 Wakefield nationals.

There you have it this boat has won the 1994 Summer Nat's! I think it could still win the Nat's today! Bill Giles makes some great hydro's.

              Hi Lights,
I think Don is correct. I saw the boat in Florida last year when Walter had it. If you send me your address, I'll send you a couple decals for it. Looks like it has been taken care of well.Thank you very much for you compliment!

                  Still up for the taking

This rig is in great condition. Great J fully rigged for just a little more than the cost of the hardware.

Bill: I just want to thank you for the interesting and informative time I had at Depue this year talking to you about the old days. Hope to see you there this year. I was with Pat Davids and really enjoyed my time there. John Lawrence

                      Giles/Graham/Lights J/A hydro

Is anyone heading to the Northeast who could bring this hydro? Or maybe to Florida?

                          Alan,
I know the history of this boat somewhat. Give me a call or write me. I talked with Shawn C. , seems you two Fathers are going to be quite excited and nervous this year!!! If the boat is still in Florida as I read it, Walter Long has it. His daughter raced it for a year or so in J. It is certainly worth whatever is asked which I am sure is reasonable today. I saw it lst November- looks it in good shape.

It is always a pleasure to remember the "good-old" days! People tell me things that I did that I don't remember ! Happy-Healthy New Year !

                              Giles Boat

                              Alan -
This would be a great boat to start out with for the cost. My Dad had actually bought it from Don Graham the season after it won ASH nationals. Due to my sons decision to go Karting, he sold it back to Donnie before it made its travels around the country.

Also, check your private messages, I sent one a while back.

                              Bill -
As I recall, there were incidents in the previous heats that you could not remember!!
