2003 Keylard DSH still epoxied

1 Keylard DSH. This is a copy of my Sweeney keylard. Rich built it for Todd Veum. This boat has more lift, wider bottom and 18" cockpit.. No hardware - unpainted and still in epoxy mode. Balsa Bottom, Balsa Sides Trick and light.. This boat needs a 240Lbs driver....

2500$ USD..

1 2003 Roper DSH/DMH built by Scottcraft. The one in my avatar.. No hardware. Boat is in mint condition. Never out of the trailer in the winter. Never Strapped down when at home. This boat is fast.. 82" afterplane, 36" bottom, 1/2" tunnel, 16" cockpit. 2.5" lift, 15 degree transom.

2000$ USD.. Roper is tenatively sold.

I can back up Dave's words on the Roper being fast. I have had the pleasure of racing the boat for Dave and it is quick and turns as if it was on a tether. It is a pure pleasure to drive!

Here are some pics of the Keylard for sale. No hardware - 2500$ US 11'6" Long, 37.5" bottom, 18.5" cockpit, 2" offset 1/4" tunnel. 3.5" lift. As I said this boat needs a 220-240 Lbs driver. balsa core bottom, balsa cockpit sides, reinforced with kevlar on right side.

The Roper is still tenatively sold.

It would be a great boat for me. I think I should finish the motor before I buy the boat (3 years building). How about this... I will race it with a for sale sign on it with one of your motors in region 6-7 all season!!!! Now that is what friends are for...

I have had my eye on it, but I think I would enjoy building my next new boat.

2 - 44xs empty gearcases - One is cracked in the lower driveshaft bearing area - will need repair, The other broke a driveshaft and will need extensive repair in the lower bearing area and a weld. The second case was brand new before the shaft let go. 200$ each.

44 Recoil Handle Supports - Stainless mandrel bent to spec - 40$
