K Pro stuff

My son started racing K Pro this year. Need to buy a good Johnson or Evinrude 15, also need a Evinrude 15 cowling to make the one we run legal. I'll have four more years of this and know little to less about it. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks Sean

The engine Chase ran in K Pro is tired. We were told the engine cover was not legal. I was curious as to why? The only thing I can think of is it said 9.9 instead of 15 and Johnson instead of Evinrude. All the covers are the same except for the graphics.
