This is for a friend, I'm now being told that it is illegal to put a 321 power head on a 302 tower. Can anyone confirm this?

If it is for CSH/20ssh it is ok to interchange 302/321 components................if it is for 300ssh which is a 'sealed' class it must be a complete 321 Yamato sealed by Tom Johnston.

        Matt,

Can you clarify? it would be OK to have a 321 air funnel, carb cover, manifold cover on a 302 tower? Or you need to change all of these pieces to run the powerhead on a 302 tower?

I was told by an APBA inspector that I could not run a 102 air funnel on a 302 because the material was not the same. Has this rule changed?

        Thanks,
        Todd

Todd...................it is the 302/321 that are all interchangeable parts. The Yamato 102 is a different animal. Per Jerry Davids and TJ all 302/321 parts can be swapped around legally for CSH/20ssh and the runabout classes 25ssr/CSR.
