25SS recoil

WTB: complete 25SS recoil. (starboard side mount on mine is split and not sure if it can be welded)

You can weld them no problem. You need to put gussets in the corners too. Had to do that to a lot of them.

I have a complete, welded, ready to go 25XS rewind assy. I may have the old 25SS housing only.

1. find a piece of 1/2" 6061 alloy aluminum big enough to make a template for the recoil bolt pattern.
2. have access to a not cracked recoil and use that recoil to drill a bolt pattern in the template.
3. now , when you weld up the cracked one, the bolt pattern is aligned and will not distort.
4. I did probably 20 of those back in the late 80's,, early 90's when the 25xs motor was a big class in Minnesota.
5.gussets were always an added value.
