Try Ric Montoya, he is on this site "RPM Marine"... he knows of someone who has devised coils that are mounted on the outside of the mag and are powered by a battery..... used in Mod. However, the rule says "Any" coil can be used... so it should be legal. Maybe someone should put together a Retro fit kit.

We need all the motors on the race course as possible.
