Which 25 Merc???
There is a cross-flow 25SS engine from the 1970's and there is the 24.5ci looper engine from the 1980's thru 2006 that was the Mercury 25XS powerhead.
Try the Snell Brothers in Texas as well as Dudley Malone in Oklahoma.
You can use the search function of this site to get their contact info.

I just looked also.. There were several listings,,,
A filler block,,, elbow and an expansion chamber.
A short pipe tower.
An ignition system.
The proper KC# carb..
The last time I looked at the carb listing,, it was up to 260.00!!!Last edited by runabout333; 02-11-2014, 10:55 AM.

Hey, guys, I think you are mistaken about Steve Wheeler's 400 Mod Hydro. He doesnt run a 25XS ...he has the 22ci. piston port engine adapted to a 25XS midsection. An open Parker pipe wouldn't work on the loop charged 25XS anyway, it would just make a bunch of noise. Now, an expansion chamber might? I'dlike to try that myself. FYI, the 25xs is only legal in the 400MH class when in the Stock configuration and that is with a carb restrictor. Mike Raceboat61-S
