If Howie says this is a good boat, that's good enough for me.

If the O-Conner will meet the rules for 302SSH I'll take it. Please confirm it meets these measurements. I can come over next weekend. I'd be willing to pay gas if you guys could drive a little to cut down the 8+ hour drive I will have to pick it up.

Here are the 302 specs I am concerned about.....
            3) **302SSH hulls must meet the specifications below:
            a.
After plane length shall not be less that 5’ 9”(69”). (measured from the trailing edge of the sponsons to the trailing edge
            of
            the bottom)
            b.
A minimum depth measurement of 2” between the bottom of the hull and the bottom of the sponson at the trailing edge of the
            sponson.
            c.
A minimum bottom width of the hull measured between the sponsons and air traps of 35”.
            d.
            A minimum boat bottom
length not to be less than 9’ 6” (114”). Measured from the trailing edge of the bottom to the
furthest most point forward along either bottom edge, beside the base of the airtraps and sponsons.

              Mhammer,

Where are you located and where do you plan to be racing 302SSH at?

I am from the Michigan Hydroplane Racing Association - the 302SSH class has been growing quickly in the Midwest and we would love to see you at some of our races!

I'm from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I drive the APBA 1 litre modified Y-4 Nauti-Buoy. I'm looking to mess around in Stock Outboard on non Inboard race weekends.
