  • FEH Rig

back on the market, complete ready to race FEH. Last seen at Lockhaven noted to be going fast! until it threw a rod through the block and crank case. Boat is light and in good shape. Fresh built motor with Runne exhaust, Bass gear foot and mid-section,4 blade Dewald prop. Available for under 4 grand ! Will deliver to Thompson for a trial race. Try before you buy. This class is not for everybody.

        "24"

sure.it is the red boat with "24" on it. Additional fiberglass work and re-paint on the nose has been done. I was hopeful one of the pro type photogs had some action shots which would show it underway....until the motor let go.

          Hunter,
Where did that boat come from? Looks like one of my old boats.

            Mean Red...

Jim...I suspect you are correct. I think you sold the boat to Ron Collins, a Canadian gentleman who passed away.He ran a D-Mod on it a couple times. Bill Keegan then had the boat for a while.Got a 3 cyl back on it and raced it a couple tiomes. In any event, the boat is still very sound structurally, it airs out just about perfectly, and is fast enough with a decent motor. I just built a fresh motor for it and I don't know how well that will go....I suspect it will need some run time to loosen up. You probably put more races on it than anyone. It does not look like it has too many on it.

Jim; -not sure if Bill Giles built it for u or Sweeney?
It is the young sister to Kenny Rosados 2-US FEH,
with a bit more lift and wide cockpit.
Ron Collins, 36CE, ran it as a Dmod. I got it from his estate, passed it on to Keegan, and now Hunter, who ran it as a FEH.
Very easy boat to drive, as far as FEs go, and good Dmod for a big driver.
Lots of wins still left in this boat
HG tried to get me "to look at it" when I was at his shop last month.
I did not, as it would have been in the truck,
                and back across the border
ps; -pic is of the late Brad Pretty driving it as a Dmod
                at Dunnville ON in 2011.

Yes that was it was my boat. I sold that to Ron C. It was a great boat very easy to drive it is different from Kens boat. This boat is not very different from the one we have now. I ran it for 2 years before Ron got it from me. Ron also bought a awsome DMH from me I would like that one back. Not sure where it went.

It's in my Garage under tarp while I rebuild my D-mod hopefully for crystal lake if things slow a little at the shop. Have to remove the sides Ron C added for the 44xs as I am putting it back to a Mod Boat transom height. I got the boat last year from Bill McKnight he was running D classic with it and I think it was a little hard for him to part with it. Jim you get me a NEW Keylard DMH and you can have this one back - LOL.
