  • Coleman starter

Looking to purchase a starter for our 44 mod, who is selling them? I know that they can be found online, however, they all seem to have like 8" shafts. Really looking for one with a 4" shaft to make it more manageable. Also would like to support our community with the sale as opposed to some .com.

    Thanks.....

Thanks Brian. I didn't realize that he took over his Dad's business. I'll give him a call. He's only about 2 hours south of me, could save the shipping.....

        Colman cut shaft

I have done two started by turning the black extension shaft in my lathe making it shorter. I also cut the center shaft and installed a new hole so the unit looks like the original but shorter. I bolt the socket to the same attachment as the standard.

If Sean doesn't have one this is where I got mine:
          Kart-O-Rama
          13701 24th St E.
          Sumner WA. 98390

It is a "Brick and Mortar" store that has been around since 1959 that also has on-line sales at kartoramainc.com

You will want the alcohol outboard model.
