  • 302 Megaphone Wanted

I want to buy a 302 Yamato megaphone like they use in Ecuador.

Let me if you have one for sale or can tell me where to buy one...

You will probably have a hard time finding one as they are not legal, even in mod. Lonnie Morris built one a few years ago, it tested well but he couldn't use it. He may still have it.

Get a hold of Cliff Johnson.. He makes systems for 44's along with Hustler.. Both are on this site

If you want a megaphone of superior quality to what they use down there, call Cliff. If you want one of equal quality to what they use down there, you could cobble something up in a couple of hours.
Ron, I will tag you in a Facebook album that shows their step by step technique to sticking a megaphone on a 302.
Add: typical Ecuador elbow shown below.

                302 Exhaust

Ron we make a open exhaust sysyem for the 302. We have had alot of interest from the racers in Ecuador on our system for the 302. If you need some info on the exhaust system fill free to give me a call.

                Thanks

                  Thanks, Tim!

I'm thinking that my "Stadium Boats" will attract more attention by making noise...

Ron, when i ran AOF a couple of times many years ago..they ran the 102's with that open pipe...nice sound. A little softer sound then the merc's.

                          Bayer

You can adapt a Bayer elbow and pipe as well. Cliff's system I believe mimicks this. Basically the same pipe they use on the 44. And yes, they run very well with open exhaust. It is a legal Mod class in NBRA.
