Two Boat, Four Motor Race Trailer For Sale In Florida
Keep in mind that I'm only offering the trailer for sale, not any boats or motors you see in the pictures.
Last year I bought a "package deal" on a boat, motor and trailer . I was after the boat and moter only, as I already have a trailer. So I'm offering this trailer for sale.
As it is currently set up, it can haul two boats and four motors. But could easily be expanded to haul three boats and five motors with minor modifications.
Take a good look at the frame drawings and notes to better understand this trailer's abilities.
It is "heavy duty" quality.
It has full size 15" wheels and a heavy duty axle that is designed to allow adjustment to the wheel camber to reduce wear on the tires. The tires are almost new and the rims are aluminum.
I've attached pictures along with a drawing of the trailer chassis to give you a good idea of the quality of the trailer.
It tows very smoothly, and the weight balance is spot on. I towed it back from Minnesota to Fla with no problems.
The frame is very robust and could handle a lot more weight than it carries now with only four motors and two boats. In fact, this frame could easily handle the weight of four boats and six motors no problem!
The trailer measures 17 feet from hitch to the rear of the box. See drawings for other measurements.
The motor box is constructed using ½" plywood and 2 by 2 framing. The plywood is in good shape. The deck is also covered with plywood as can be seen in the pictures.
All the joints in the motor box have been secured using fiberglass resin and cloth.
The trailer is located in Lady Lake, Fla. So if your heading down to Fla for the Tavaries Vintage boat show, or the two US Title Series events, it will be easy for us to get togather.
