WTB Impeller and fuel pump kit for an OMC A motor

I have a 1986? 15hp Johnson that needs an impeller and a fuel pump rebuild kit or new fuel pump. Thanks for any help Dave

Dave - Fuel pump can be purchased thru any Evinrude dealer under part #397839. Or you can save yourself some $ and go here to buy one off line.

If you desire a kit they are available under part # 393088 but if I were you I'd just get the whole pump and save the frustration.

You can also get the fuel pump kit at NAPA, usually overnight. Other auto parts stores may also sell outboard parts thru Sierra Marine. Both auto parts stores in my 2 horse town sell marine products and can usually get them overnight. I don't know about the impeller that is a more specialized part.

Just a side note to my previous post.

If you plan on racing this engine in APBA and if you play by the rules, technically you could be given a hard time in inspection for running a S.O.R.T.C. unapproved aftermarket fuel pump. You see OMC had the part # on their fuel pump bodies which indicated they were factory original. The aftermarket ones do not as most are made in third world countries now a days. I doubt an inspector would DQ you for such a trivial infracting.
