Yup, never been run, however if you looking for light rods, I've already sold them years ago, so the new cranks will have the heavy late rods.

            UPDATE.
Got a fine crankset from Donny Allen, he did me real right, sold me one WITH crankcase and a whole bunch of other extra parts. Saved the motor. Just got it running yesterday. I need some proper race oil, does anyone use Blendzall ultra with castor oil? My kart buddies swear by it. We used to use chainsaw oil,Pennzoil, Torco, Bel ray oils years ago. That stuff worked fine. The cylinder and piston wear is OK. Honed cylinders and re-ringed the pistons.
(In the '90s, The motor got rained on; got water in it, the water damage was mainly to the crankshaft and rod bearings.)

When did the light rods get used in the Y80. I bought mine in 1977 as shipped from Japan with metric prop shaft. Raced it in 78 as probationary 20ssh and again in 79. Never been apart. Would this engine have the light rods?
