Race site is Capitol Lake, in downtown Olympia WA. Unfortunately we lost the race site 2 years ago do to an infestation and quarantine of the New Zealand Mud Snail, an invasive species that nobody can seemingly figure out how to kill.Originally posted by csh2z View Post

Nothing can touch the water, dog kids nothing. But the true Irony is Capitol Lake is the reflecting pond for the state capitol, the place that allocates all the state money and is the home of our newly elected Governor (who was once featured in a video advocating funds for invasious species research) and is the only place in Washington these snails are found.
