  • Filler Block 20H/Mark 25

I'm still looking for a newer style filler block for the 20H or Mark 25. I have the old style filler block that will not fit the block I am placing on a cornpopper. Anyone out there with one they can part with? I would be happy to trade the old filler as well as I will have no use for it.

        Filler block

I have a new unmachined Quincy filler block if you need to machine one to fit. This is the same basic raw casting Mercury used.

Alan, I may take you up on the raw filler block if I can't find one to fit the Mark 25 block. I see you're from the Lake Charles area and name refers to racing for awhile. That use to be my neck of the woods back in the 70's. Did you do any racing with the Cobb's, Hebert's, Pelizo's??

I might be interested in the old filler block... Would it fit the Quincy pipes for a standard 20h? Thanks

I'm not sure? It was for the cornpopper exhaust and the older 20H block, but may need it, if I don't find a suitable replacement.

                Lake Lanier...

Ok, by next week, I think you can just walk over to my place to look at this filler block... If you can't wait, lets get together and I'll show it to you.

Tom.....If we don't get any rain, you're right on being able to walk to your house. Sounds great, I'll touch base with you next week. I have a boat project I'm working on at the marina all next week, but will have time.

Early "twin" pipes or single converging?......Early twin pipes had a off-set Lower filler to clear the green tanks.....Converging used the commode filler........

Pipe below is the "Converging" Quincy that uses the "Commode" filler.....(this one has the "Early" 20H block (Does not say"Hurricane").......20H+.015 cyl on a Mark-20 fish'n "junkyard" crankcase assembly, KG-4 Pahlon mag@.400BTDC, and KB-2 carb off a Mark-300, 16/21 gears......Ran last fall at Charlie fry's "Fun-Run" in Oriopolis, Pa...........SCREAMS!!!!
