  • Machined Components Parts, Hydros.

I have a few rigging parts on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/mn4v/m.html?...p2047675.l2562

And have a Sorensen 850 hydro kit ($400) Sitka Spruce solid wood.

And a 850cc hydro ($700) with my changes 90% complete, needs sponson plywood and decking. Carbon fiber covered cockpit sides, ribs and transom. Obeche solid wood for the stringers. Wide tunnel, 40 3/8".

Also have two 850cc OMC mids cut down to 6" with one set of Merc clamp brackets and drawings for the cavitation plates designed by Sam LaBanco. Also includes (in the mid section) sound deadening exhaust designed by Sam LaBanco. Needs top mounting plate. Also have two drive shafts cut down for these mids, cut to Bass recommendations.

Here are some photos and specs of the hydro I designed.

    The specifications are Length - 13' 5"
    Tunnel Width - 40 3/8"
    Total Width - 68"
Back of sponson to back of boat - 93 1/4"

The total weight as it sits now is around 60 to 75 lbs.

Is that a Formula E (850 Mod) boat?

Yes, I designed it for the 3 cyl OMC.

I should have read your first post more carefully!

I see some interesting stuff in that design. Hopefully someone will buy it, finish building it, and race it.

Photo with front cowl clamped in place. I will have the total exact weight of the hull by tomorrow.

Got to weigh the hull today. Don't know if the scale is right, sure seems light. But the electronic scale shows 96 lbs.
