I shipped 2 102's in a cooler via Fedex. Send as 2 pieces, powerhead and midsection lower unit. The lower unit was wrapped in bubble wrap, and then wrapped in a uhual moving blanket.

I shipped one in the box I got from Ric last year cost $110 for about that distance .

UPS will ship up to 150lbs I believe ground. When I found my 102 on craigslist in florida, my dad and I made a box with handle, came to about 40lbs, and shipped it down from maine ($40 or so). Then he clamped it in and shipped it back for about $90 if I remember. Then modified the same box for getting a 25xs from washington to maine.
