  • Thrust bracket

    I'm looking for a short thrust bracket for my hydro. I have one that is too long and would be willing to trade for a shorter one, thanks. I'll get pics posted soon.

    If it attaches to the transom you will need to post the transom angle off the vertical.

          Thanks Dave, I thought you had said it was 18 degrees.

          Tom, I'm running a mod 44 and plan to run a three cylinder SE motor in the future.

              Is that a removable sleeve (I see what looks like a set screw) on the threaded shaft? If so why not remove it and cut the threaded shaft to make the 7" +/- length as needed?

                That is not a set screw. The saddle is pinned to the threaded collar with a hardened roll pin. I removed the roll pin but the saddle will not move. It looks like the saddle has another pin in it that cannot be removed therefore it can't be shortened. Thanks for the input...
