The trailer is an idea of a few reasons. Ive seen boats slip off of the normal carts, I can put this & boat on my roof racks & not need a trailer or slide it up on the trailer between bunk rails. The ladder is a piece from a heavy duty extension ladder that I didn't have the rest of so, that's what it became. Its a little heavy but good & solid. Got an idea to build another differently [no ladder] but it will have a bunk instead of pedestals.
