  • JDS DSH & Fresh 44XS

This is one of the few remaining Jon Steen built D hydros. After a little collision a couple years ago I stripped and had both decks replaced. Has the newest Machined Components hardware. Boat itself weighs just over 100 pounds. Last summer after laying off the suds @195 pounds (me) i was 480lbs dry weight before first heat (no lead).

Motor is an original factory 44XS. Bore is .015 over. Rick Hannon has rebuilt this motor the last 3 times and has commented, "this is the nicest motor" he has ever done. Has about 10 races on the last rebuild. Just replaced stator and box with new CDI/Rapair this season. I will include my best short course & long course props. (both Dewalds)

Boat is much better than I have driven it lately. Time to focus on my son's racing.

    $5000.00

What are the dimensions, package only? Do you still want my 44xs cowl?

        more questions

the cockpit is 16.5"(inside). i'm 6' 200lbs and fit just right.

i will not separate the package. i do however have a second motor built from a fishing block. .015 over never raced (or started yet). sits on a new IAI tower housing. will sell this motor with boat & props for $4500.
