Hedlund A/B Hydroplane Plans

I am looking to borrow or purchase plans in order to build a Hedlund A/B hydro.

Does anybody still have plans/patterns they're willing to part with? Please let me know.

Were they ever sold as plans, or did some builders just copy the dims?

Thanks. I've seen this on eBay before. It's a nice boat, and a good deal, but way more money than I want to spend, and I want to build the boat myself.

I believe plans are out there. I have found references to Hedlund Marine in Wilmette, IL that was selling plans as late as 2004, but they appear to no longer be in business. Ah... the thrill of the hunt!

Yes, there were plans available directly from Hedlund. I have seen them. (a long time ago)

Wasn't the Hedlund, Dubinski, and Soderstrom just variations of the Hal Kelly Jupiter. If so, Clark Craft sells the Jupiter plans for $41.00.
