  • 1956 real mercury 55h for show or classic racing

All numbers match with original serial plate, #984298. All original except owner/West Coast racer converted to Tilllotson KA7A carbs in 1959. Rebuilt to factory specs by Wienandt March 2004. Std. bore and 120 psi plus compression. Foot rebuilt by Ron Thomas. Original chrome factory steering bar. Raced twice, Wakefield Nationals, with less than 2 hours running time since rebuild. Restored to original factory 1956 paint scheme. Absolutely perfect to show but should be run as it’s a strong engine. Would be perfect for Classic racing. Also many 2 & 3 blade SS DSR props available. Delivery negotiable. Asking $4500. Jon K Walters

    Sid Hornet Plans

I lofted a late 50's Sid DU hornet with profile, plan, and bow and transom scale drawings. I then made full size frame patterns and built the prototype. I kept many notes and took many photos including a bill of materials and designed a jig to build it. I am offering a copy of all above for $100 plus shipping charges. Jon K Walters 706-467-9007

Sorry, I have a 44 for sale also as well as "Fishing block" 55 H Black Challenge motor, both blueprinted by Wienandt in perfect shape.
