102 gives up

My 102 has thrown a rod. Does anyone have a built up crank or is this now a "parts donor" engine ?

the heck with that 102............sell it for parts (keep the lower unit for MOD) and continue with the 302.....

'Florida Fresh' as they say, so no warranty
As we are both on the north side of the 48th parallel,
shipping/customs is no issue, but 3000 miles is

Very funny! I am hearing that friggin' buzz box in my sleep. 302 next year.
Rick, you have a head for a 102? I finally got around to new rings, pulled the head, and it had some chunks out of #1! Piston & cylinder look good. must have been an old wound. Been running ok, but I would like to get a pretty one.

102 Lives !

Thanks to all who have responded to my orriginal post. As luck would have it a fellow Canadian racer, Brian Hendrick has responded with a very reasonable price on a complete crankcase and crank/rods. I was coincidently travelling east for a family visit and was able to drop in to Brian's place in Merrickville Ont and enjoy a pleasant visit. I ended up leaving with the parts and a Tietze built mod tower as well ! Thanks again Brian, always a pleasure to meet another racer ! Sorry guys no parts engine yet.
