    I'd check with Rex Hall. I know he did a 350 Yamato Reed Motor for a friend a few years ago and they put new pistons in it.

      I may have some on a crank. How do you recognize the reed valve from piston port type?

        I can not speak to the 350 pistons but on the 250's it looks like they are the same with the reed valve pistons having the skirts cut off.

          I have spoken to pistons before along with many other parts to a motor and all were not kind words, just saying

                Neil:

                These are 350 pistons but have a small rectangular port located just below the ring groove on one side. As stated in the earlier post they are on a crank that seems to be in good shape. Rods move freely but one piston is smeared in a narrow area, so probably 3 could be reused, and maybe the other if cleaned up and moly coated as Harry used to do.

                I am not interested in trying to remove the pistons from the rods. If these will work PM me an offer for what is there.

                    Neil,
                    First off glad to hear your back into boat racing again. Sounds like you had a little mishap by your post. Hope your able to get everything back together. Would be nice to see you back running 500 hydro again.
