yes i think so thats how the early one mounted i dont have the original..Scott

If you cant find one I am quite sure they are the same as the early 80's stock 25hp cowlings. If you can find one on craigslist or something. And then grab some of the decals someone sells here.

I need a good 25 engine block, Mercosil, or complete powerhead. Know of any?

Ebay has 2 lower cowls for sale, also 2 top cowls. Search "Mercury 25HP",. Davee, I have 2 25XS blocks 'for sale' but I think? both are chrome bore. Good blocks, $100 ea. Mike Raceboat61-S 740-319-5040
