$7.50 each is too much ... I want to trade my J6-J's that I don't really have use for.

If you would like to give me $7.50 each for the J6-J's ... I'd be good.

      Do we have a deal?

I didn't think they were. Would you like to buy my J6-J's so I can buy the over priced J4-J's anyway?

I'm trying to help someone who has 4's, but needs 6's. There are a whole lot more motors that use 6's.

Whats the difference between J-4, and J-4-J Sam? I can buy J-4's over the parts counter for about a buck. We used to install a lot of them, and thought I had some, but I have all J-4's.

A J4-J or J6-J is an obsolete plug for 2 strokes that has half the ground electrode removed so the hot electrode is half exposed. Champion stopped making them and replaced them with a J6-C that seems to work as well.

I bought a pair of NOS 4's on eBay last week for less than half of what the current seller is asking. I am certain there are more out there. J4-J's often foul if you try to use them where you should be using 6's ... 4's are a very cold plug.

I remember when the C, copper core plugs, replaced the -J marine plugs in the mid 80ś, a lot of worrying over a very, very minor increase in plug tip temps.

Sam, is the motor these are going in highly modified? J4Cś ran great in 30H & 40H, never an issue with the plug temps.

They aren't going in a Merc

I have had success with the C's in my Mercs
