25XS Carb body needed

Hey guys.
My carb body has a major crack in the flange. I have a spare carb off an OLD 25 that looks the same EXCEPT the fuel pump doesn't have the plastic plate sandwiched in the middle.
Can anyone tell me if it is usable as is or can the newer fuel pump parts be put into it?
Either way I still would like to get a spare carb.
I could use a good Mercocil block as well???

You can add the upgrade for the fuel pump. Mercury kit #1395-9702 (I think that's right).

Here's what the inspection manual says-

12. The 25XD carburetor is legal for the 25XS engine if it is fitted with a full butterfly. The model numbers for carburetors having the same venturi and throat diameters as the 25XS carburetor (Walbro WX-2263) are:
• WMC-1
• WMC-3
• WMC-11
• WMC-13
Carburetor Venturi Diameter 1.120 + or - 0.015 in
Bore Diameter 1.250 + or -0.015 in



I alos have a question about a spare carb I have; It's a WMC with a #3 cast into the body next to the inlet nipple. There's also stamped #'s on the primer side near the top cover of 1598 and 31A. I assume that the cast #3 is the WMC-# not the stamped #. Anyone?
