  • 25XS lower unit parts needed

    Hi
The Quickie on my new rig leaks badly and needs shimming. (as far as I can tell before taking it apart).
Where can I buy the shims, impeller, and other small parts without paying $108.00 for just the impeller?
Where can I buy gears and shafts if I need them?

    Thanks for any help.

    25 xs gearcase parts

East Coast Marine in Pa. has parts for the gearcase . ( all the A B C 25 ) parts are the same ( housings and gears being the exception ) . Parts cost.. how fast can you afford to go ??

        25xs gearcases:

I have two, looks like they never have been used, gearcases. Put that in your book to remember when you need one...

Sounds like you're in a newbie situation, and that's exactly where these should go. I'm not sure of market value but pm me and we can work something out.

I just put together a 25xs over the winter and look to start racing 25ssr, maybe, someday...

Sorry to take over your thread and best of luck!

I've run some of Frank Erion's 16/21 gears and had good luck with them.
Ron Thomas is also a good source for parts and service on these lower units. He seems to know most of the parts sources.

                    Much obliged!
                    Is Wings-N-Things still around?
I can't find them on the web.

Dave, sorry I missed your call last night. The phone number I sent you to call is the same as Wings-n-Things.
