  • For sale : Y302

    For sale Y302.
Originally a later model 202 - same as 302, less ignition; updated to 302 ignition.
Machine work to tolerances; crank to spec along with carb.
    BTM fuel kit.
Foot, tower, tuner done by WayneCo.
Motor needs to be CC'd but should have 1-1.5 extra.

This is a very good motor. I have tested along-side the 302 that has won the last two OSY Nationals and they both run the same top-end and have virtually the same 50mph-to-max speed curve.

    $3100

Let me know if you have any questions, Thanks, John Peeters. JP@johnpeeters.com

Yes it does. Other that the obvious ignition hardware, a different upper bearing case assembly, flywheel and roping pulley is used.

As I understand it, there were two versions of the Y202. The first used the tall tower, 102 ignition 302 block and lighter crank . The second used the 102 ignition, 302 powerhead but also the 302 crank . This motor is the later version, and by updating the ignition system, it is now a 302.

The earlier version had the longer tower, the same as the 102. Yours has the shorter tower, which is identical to the 302

Man! I thought you might be sand bagging this good for puting pipes on it

Dan & I were going to have a boat built over the winter. Got the kit and everything. However, times are a bit rough and don't have the dinero to start the project. Will have to wait

I'll give you 1200 bucks for it

If your answer is no, then it's just a free bump.
