  • where to buy Carbon Fiber

The only source I have for carbon fiber near me is Aircraft Spruce. They have a 5oz fabric at $37 a yard, sort of expensive.

I would like to find a lighter fabric but I haven't found a decent source. Any suggestions?

Tim, The lighter weight carbon is much more expensive than $37/yd., but
here are a couple places to look at it. What are you doing with it?

We have had very good luck with quality and pricing from Applied Vehicle Technology, Indianapolis, IN (317) 546 6840.

It really pays to shop around. Widths, thread counts, weave and if whoever is selling it has left over stock from a job in the type and size you might need will make a considerable difference in price.

            Check e-bay also.
