Who makes the 44xs Solid Tilt Pin? I'm looking to pick up two of those up along with the nylocks that go with them.

    Thanks, John.

      John,

Any 18-20-25 from 86 - 96 should have one, Daren should be able to order you new ones as well. They are not made from stainless. If not check seaway - I will post the part numbers when I get to the shop.

EDIT Ok! so they are NLA from Merc no subbed numbers at all.

      The rod is 16-99928.
The nuts are 11-40021 3 - the nut is SS M8 Nylock

I will look and see if I have any thing left.

Dave, thanks for the info, but Daren is correct that I am looking for a solid stainless version.

Here's a photo of what I am referring to:

          It's very cleanly done.

            John,

That thing is SOLID SS. COOL, I could get a price on a few of these it would take them no time on the new HAAS CNC lathe they just installed at my machine shop.

I will get a price on 10 pieces if anyone else is interested.

I thought you were looking for 8 and 10 in the pic which is why I said they were not stainless.

            Regards,

            Dave

Is that the same length/piece that a 25xs uses?

The towers are the same so I would assume so. Tilt tube is what you're looking for.

                    Dave,

What Haas machine did you get? We've had a TM-1 (CNC mill) and TL-1 (CNC lathe) at work for a little over a year now. Pretty fun toys.

                      Hey Jake,

Not to sure which Model. This is the machine shop that I use locally. I wish I had the $$$ for those kinds of toys. I just installed a manual bridgeport/enco last weekend at my shop with with a newall x and y DRO and a very cool variable speed motor I can spin the motor as low as 50 RPM if I want. Not that I would be doing anything a 50 RPM - but it is really cool.

My chum is coming next week to level it and setup all the back lashes for me, cannot wait to start using it.

I will check on these on Monday and get some pricing.

John, so it is completely solid SS.
