Thanks for the thought, but there's only one 4 cylinder Merc on the site - a 30H - and it's been sold! Does anyone know of a KG-9Q or KG-9H that might be for sale?

Might still try to call them they may have stuff not on their site or they can locate the engines you want.

You might try the antique outboard assiociation

If you are located in Fla thyere is an antique boat show with sellers of lots of stuff in Tavares Fl at the last week in March.

            Early racing engines

We only have a 25XS and a Mark 5 currently. Sold 8 engines in 4 weeks. Currently we are working on a numbers matching 20H. Will be doing 3 20H conversions next and then another 30H.

If you look at the stuff Charlie Miller has list today there is plently of good stuff. We purchase a dozen engines from and they were all good. If you buy one of his we have the parts to restore them back to factory look.

                  Early 1950's racing motor

Thanks to all those who responded. Dudley has an Evinrude Speeditwin - no Mercs - and Charlie's 4cyl motors, unless I'm mistaken, are from '56 onwards. 4cyl racers from the early 50's were the KG9Q, KG9H and Mk 40H. If anyone has one of these motors for sale I would be interested in hearing from them.
