    Knee Padding..................

I have a place by me here in Maryland called Potomac Rubber that i get it from. They make wrestling mats and rubber for all types of applications. It is closed cell and comes in 1/2"- 1" thickness and i buy it in sheets of 4'x8'.

I suggest you Google rubber suppliers in your area. Also, i believe Carl Holt in Ohio still sells pre-cut kneeling pads. I don't have his number handy but i am sure APBA headquarters will look it up for you (586-773-9700).

ps.............also Walmart blue camping mats work well! They don't come in the thickness you want but for small hydros (J's and A's) they work great.

I had 1 made from a marine upholstery guy. It was $100.00, 1 inch thick, waterproof and u cant feel anything on your knees. it fits in the boat tight and doesnt move around.

you dont even need screws, when you are done just pull out.

lmk if intrested and i can order.

                +1 for knee pads

I used a boat pad for years, always wondering why guys would fumble around with knee pads. I tried knee pads 2 years ago and would never go back. The freedom of movement when wearing knee pads is unlimited. Proper fitting knee pads wont slide around, rip loose, or wad up underneath you. Not to mention, if(and when) you do go on your head knee pads will still offer some level of protection.

I am fortunate enough to have sponsorship from 661 and have access to their entire line of protection accessories. They make well thought out, well constructed gear intended for extreme use. I highly recommend giving them a try.
