    Looking for old 3 blade DSH props: 7" to 7 1/4" diameter and pitch range 12 to 12 1/2.

    Yeah! count me in for a few of those too!

    I'll go for a 1970's Mercury cast cleaver blank. Would look real nice under the tree.

      Yeah, those are hard to find but they sure work well on those 44xs'! The Altralite seems to do really well with the added weight.

          Hey Dan, the new motor is only turning around 5200 RPM. I think we'll need to back off on the pitch a bit.

                        Norristown PA, missed the record by .3 MPH - What a ride - I was almost sitting on the deck with the sponsons hanging about a foot off.

                        At the time, Nick Marchetti was upset with me. Said I would blow it over, tear up the boat and give his boats a bad name. I made the first run and over he came with a prop saying 'try this one next'. He thought we were going to get the record that day. Might have if we could have gotten another run in.

                          Nitrous is now available at Texaco too Pump Gas, I believe. As for the biannual Lake Lawrence Oval record "kilos" ... that thang should be fun to watch.
