• Cover your Yamato with style!

Custom Yamato engine covers for sale at the 2009 Stock Outboard Nationals in Grass Lake!

Choose from two options:
• Short covers the power head, including the spray shield ($20.00 each)
• Long covers the power head, spray shield, and mid-section ($25.00 each)

These custom covers fit any Yamato and are made of marine-grade, flame-resistant, waterproofed canvas. Bottom drawstrings allow for a tighter wind-resistant fit. Best of all, they are hand made with pride right here in the good 'ol U S of A! And you can have any color you want, so long as it is the tan color pictured.

See Mike Pavlick at the Nationals in Grass Lake. He will have these covers available for sale at his trailer.

Other engines

Randy:

Thanks for the question. Let me check with the person who makes these about the possibility of making covers for other engines. For now, however, Mike Pavlick (1-V and 225-V) will only have Yamato covers available at Nationals.

Covers

The person making these is making me covers for my OMC engines and my Sidewinder. So chances are they will make them for the Merk.

News from the manufacturer

Good news on all fronts!

Just got word from the manufacturer that he will indeed mail order these covers to you, provided you pay for the shipping cost. Offhand, I would say that a single cover can be shipped in a small box or Tyvek envelope via USPS Priority Mail for around $5.00. Not too bad, and you get your package in 2-3 business days. (Please note that this shipping estimate is just that; an estimate! Other factors such as multiple cover orders and USPS shipping regulations could mean a slightly higher shipping cost.)

Second, for those of you going to DePue, there is a possibility we might be down there a few covers for sale. Look for Jim Fairchild. If he has his trailer with him, he's the one with the yellow #62-V and orange #662-V Pavlick Hydros (shameless plug).

Third, I've been informed that the covers can be made for any engine configuration! All we would need are the dimensions or better still a drawing (with dimensions) of what you are looking for.

If anybody has any questions, please feel free to reply to this post or send me a PM.

Thanks!

Now in more colors!

Now you can cover your Yamato with style and be color coordinated too!

Covers are now available in tan (pictured), white, pink, purple, and teal.

Tan and white (short option) are available for the low, low cost of $20.00, and the long option costs $25.00 (plus shipping).

The pink, purple, and teal materials are a lot more challenging to work with on an item this small, so these colors are priced at $25.00 for the short option and $30.00 long option (plus shipping).

Feel free to post any questions here, or send me a PM.

Thanks!
