2) Electroless Nickel plated Bud Parker steel tube tower for Yamato hatchet foot with powerhead adapter and driveshaft for 40/44 Merc with friction co-pilot and thrust shoe. These are the very last two Mod towers Bud built. Ready for your D-Merc clamps using a 6" inside choke. Tower height is 7-3/4" plus the adapter for 8" total.

Package is $850 plus shipping. Fitted to your D-Merc clamp & swivel add $75.

Square Tube

Tim,

Did Bud start using square tubing towards the end ? I see he twisted that, makes good sense to accomodate the Yamato foot. Always is fun bending the studs on a brand new gearbox to fit my Parker tower. Which is still kicking strong, Bud built some of the best.

Hi Dave,

These are the only two towers Bud built with square tube (the very last two). Indeed, Bud's work was bulletproof for the most part. These are strong and beautiful with the hatchet........

BTW; Though you can't see it here, these towers have twin rear struts.
