ISSAQUAH, WA: Security Race Products announced it will be carrying a new full-face, orange helmet that is Snell 2005/DOT compliant, and will be available at a special introductory price for pre-orders.
Dubbed the "SRP Pyro", this helmet is manufactured by Pyrotect, whose US headquarters are in Prineville, OR. It's based on the Pyrotect Sportsman full-face helmet.
"Our auto racing customers have been extremely happy with the quality and value of the Pyrotect Sportsman Helmet for quite some time", remarked Al LaPointe of Security Race Products. "We wanted to bring this great product over to the boat racers, and Pyrotect was gracious enough to produce this helmet in orange for us. Now, we're able to offer a top-quality orange helmet at a price that really makes sense to boat racers."
Available in sizes XS thru XXL, SRP will sell the helmet for $180 plus shipping starting in September. For the time being, SRP is accepting Pre-Orders of this new helmet for only $160 thru August 31, 2009. All it takes is a deposit check or a credit card number (card won't be charged until helmet is shipped) to pre-order at this great introductory price.
SRP will be displaying this helmet as well as some other exciting new products at the Stock Outboard National Championships in Grass Lake MI, and will be offering $25 Gift Cetificates for the top 3 finishers at the Stock Nationals, contingent upon their displaying of an SRP decal (provided free at the race) on their boat.
