  • searching for 30 over 3 ring style piston rings

    wanted 1 set of the old style 3 ring piston 30 over merc piston rings for the 44 ci mercury motor

    wanting the harder tin type rings not the softer black style ring

    are there any left ?? available?

    please notify me or post here I will check often the next 3 days

    Randy, you can check online at Hastings Piston Rings. They have a lot of the older stuff.

      mike my engine ate an approx a dime size piece of my upper brass reed cage and fouled up # 2 cylinder pretty bad, on Saturday at Rochelle, after 2nd heat, coming back to pit after heat was done!
      never discovered it until after 2nd heat Sunday

      Plus its not cooling proper just yet may need more with the yamato lower units

      Sigh dam 50's are a pain inna arse lol
      you figure out whats wrong with joes 44 merc yet ?
